Hello and welcome to Heart Food!
Heart Food is a Midlands-based online food magazine launched in 2010. A champion of local produce from the heart of England, the site is founded by our husband-and-wife team of PR and ex-journalist James and marketing professional Rowenna.
We are passionate about local produce and having previously lived in Cornwall (and worked with Cornish food producers) for a number of years we know what can be achieved for local food in the Midlands – an area that is very underserved – with the right promotion.
We hope that you enjoy looking round the website.

I think this is a fabulous website and hope it’s a real success for you. I ‘heartily’ agree that we should appreciate and promote our wonderful local food. It really does not get enough credit.
We don’t need to import so much food, the best produce is right here underneath our noses and if we eat more seasonal food, our villages and countryside will be invigorated and hopefully thrive again. I will now watch this space…..
